Our Story
Locked & Loved was created to help women rediscover the power in their natural roots.
I grew up helping my father, uncle, and brother twist and retighten their locs. Hair has always been part of my story. But for a long time, I felt pressure to look the part just to get the role, to wear the image just to be accepted, to silence parts of myself just to fit in.
After years in cosmetology and a season in corporate, I knew I needed something different. I wanted space to care for my family, grow something that mattered, and live fully in my purpose.
I recently began my own Sisterlocks journey, so I understand what it means to start over. I know what it feels like to choose yourself, to trust the process, and to embrace your natural self without apology.
This work is not just about hair. It is about identity, healing, and growth.
